  • Result: What outcome/impact followed? (with numbers if possible)

What to Highlight in the Interview

  • Describe examples of turning a business need into a technical requirement with concrete projects.
  • State your knowledge of modelling notations such as BPMN and UML, and your SQL, clearly.
  • Highlight stakeholder management, workshop facilitation and documentation skills.
  • Quantify outcomes such as scope clarity, reduced change requests and process improvement.
  • State the tools you use (Jira, Confluence, Visio) and the methodology (Agile, Waterfall).

What to Avoid

  • Saying "did analysis" without concrete projects and outcomes.
  • Leaving out technical skills such as SQL and process modelling.
  • Not evidencing stakeholder management and communication skills.

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I prepare for an interview?

Study likely questions in advance, prepare a concrete example from your own experience for each (using STAR) and rehearse out loud.

How much should I talk in my answers?

Ideally 60–90 seconds per question. Too short seems disengaged; too long seems unfocused.

What if I get a question I do not know?

Be honest; say you do not know, but add how you would learn it or a similar experience. Making things up is the biggest mistake.
